A Letter from the Board Chair

On behalf of the Board of Directors and our dedicated and capable staff allow me to welcome you to our airport and Muhlenberg County. The Muhlenberg County Airport is a public airport with a long history of service to the aviation needs of our area beginning as a grass strip in the 1920’s.   Over the years the airport has grown into the outstanding facility it is today. Our 5000 feet runway, parallel taxiway, modern and well equipped terminal building,  ease of operation Jet A and 100LL fuel systems, nearby motels and restaurants, and places of interest make us a great destination or stop over.

Whatever your reason, be it business, pleasure, need to refuel, refresh and get something to eat; or to visit our area, have maintenance performed; or find a place to base your aircraft we stand ready to make your visit as pleasant as possible and to do everything we can to do so with “Flying Colors”.
